Mid-Year Life Reset!

Notice how it gets to the middle of the year & you have become really busy, life has gotten a little crazy & your New Years goals are completely out the window? Or maybe you have your s**t together, in which case this is not the blog post for you!

Here are my tips to giving your life the reboot it needs to end the year the right way.

1. Reset Your Space

A clear space is a clear mind! Give your space, whether thats just your room or your whole house, a little clean-up. Open the windows, light some candles, let in the natural light! Give yourself a clear canvas to work with!


2. Change up the Energy

One of my favourite things to do is refresh my space and create a whole new energy. Nothing like a new ambiance to reset your mindset. So move your room around, lounge room or even whole house, you'd be surprised at the difference it makes.

You could even just buy a new picture, rug or pillow to create a new feeling in your environment. I find that even the smallest difference can change the outlook you have when you enter the room.


3. Clear Your To-Do List!

This is the worst part of the process, but trust me it is SO worth it! Bite the bullet and get done all of the jobs that you hate or have been putting off! It could be cleaning the car, the oven, putting clothes away, organising paperwork, paying bills, etc. Give yourself a clear 'to do list' going into the second half of the year.

One of the things I always put off is clearing my email inbox! Mine has thousands of emails I don’t want from companies I don’t even remember signing up to... Take 10 minutes and unsubscribe to all of those unwanted emails. I'd also change the background picture on your computer or phone when you have done this so everything feels fresh and new!


4. Reset Yourself

Book that hair appointment, paint your nails, have a long, warm bath! With all of this change going on, don't forget yourself. Do something that makes you feel refreshed and reset, so you can feel fabulous going into the second half of the year with your mew goals and clear mindset! You could even refresh your look whether that be with a new haircut or new nail colour, change something up.



5. Set/ Revisit Your Goals

Lastly, sit down with a cup of coffee (or glass of wine if your like me), and write up some new goals to finish off the year with! If you still have your goals from the New Year, then revisit them and make sure you are on the right track, tick off the ones you have completed and make a plan to help you achieve the rest of them- remember there is only 6 months left of the year!

If you are setting some new goals, make them realistic, achievable and specific! I have also created a downloadable template to have on your phone or print out , to write your goals onto! I stuck mine up somewhere I would see them to keep me accountable and give me a motivational reminder when I look at them!
